Accepted Student Information
Congratulations on your acceptance to EFSC
Once you've received your acceptance email and/or letter, the next stage of the enrollment process includes completing any outstanding admission requirements.
You may register for classes once proof of a standard high school diploma and placement test requirements have been met so you'll want to take care of those steps right away as you work through any additional requirements outlined in your acceptance letter.
Use the information in the accordion below to get more details about each step in the process of completing your admission requirements, including details about clearing a hold that impacts your ability to register for courses.
Important Note: The Admissions Team is available to assist you. Stop by campus for walk-in assistance, or make an appointment to minimize your wait, plus virtual assistance is available by phone at 321-433-7300 to answer most questions. Visit the Admission's Contact Information page for details, hours, and how to make an on-campus appointment. View other Student Services locations and contacts by campus.

A final, official High School transcript indicating date of graduation, GED® transcript or Homeschool Graduation Affidavit is required for registration into college courses. Ask your Florida public high school to send your transcript electronically using the National Student Clearinghouse FASTER system when possible. Transcripts may also be mailed from your school to your intended EFSC campus.
If your school is unable to send documents electronically or by mail, transcripts may be emailed directly from the school to the EFSC Admissions office at admissions@easternflorida.edu.
Official transcripts will not be accepted in the Student Document Dropbox in your myEFSC Student Portal. Transcripts from U.S. territories must be in English or Spanish. An authorized translation must accompany a transcript that is not in English or Spanish.
EFSC will accept proof of standard high school diploma to allow you to register for your initial term. You must submit your final, official transcript before you can register for the next term.
Acceptable proofs of standard high school diploma:
- Original or copy of high school diploma with graduation date
- Unofficial high school transcript indicating standard high school diploma
- Official/unofficial regionally accredited college transcript with college-credit course work completed
- Original or copy of college diploma from a regionally accredited institution
Please note: Financial Aid will not be awarded until the official high school transcript is received and evaluated.
Submission of all final, official, non-EFSC college transcript(s) indicating the coursework taken and the degree(s) awarded is required. A transcript with courses in progress is not considered a final transcript. Official college transcripts will not be accepted in the Student Document Dropbox in your myEFSC Student Portal.
Please request all final, official transcripts from regionally accredited colleges be sent to the EFSC Office of the Registrar. Whenever possible, sending transcripts electronically is preferred and faster: please request that they be sent to registrar@easternflorida.edu
Please have all paper college transcripts mailed to the Office of the Registrar, 1519 Clearlake Rd, Cocoa, Florida 32922.
See more info about sending college transcripts to EFSC.
Students with international transcripts from outside the U.S. are required to obtain a course-by-course evaluation from an approved company. Review the International Transcript Info site for more details.
Meet with an academic advisor if you need to use your unofficial transcript as proof of a prerequisite(s) to register for your initial term. Once an official transcript is received and evaluated by EFSC, your coursework will be transferred and you may register online.
Please note: Financial Aid will not be awarded until all U.S. regionally accredited official transcript(s) are received and evaluated, and you must submit all official transcript(s) before you can register for the next term.
To clear the Placement Test requirement, you must to do one of the following:
• If you have ACT, SAT, PERT or CPT/FELPT scores that are less than two years old from term of enrollment, request an official copy of the scores be sent to an Eastern Florida State College admission office. If you bring your SAT or ACT login and password to the Admissions Office, one of our specialists can help you download your official placement scores.
• If you entered 9th grade in a Florida public school in the 2003-2004 school year or later AND graduated from a Florida public high school with a standard high school diploma contact Admissions to determine if you are eligible for exemption from testing.
• If you are serving as an active duty member of any branch of the United States Armed Services you may be eligible for exemption from testing; please contact the Military and Veteran’s Service Center to explore that option.
• If you completed a college-level math or Composition 1 course at a regionally accredited U.S. College with a grade of “C” or higher it will fulfill that portion of your placement test requirement. Make sure your official transcripts are sent to EFSC for evaluation. An unofficial transcript may be used for initial placement.
• No scores…No problem. You can schedule a placement test through our online RegisterBlast scheduling system. Get details and schedule placement testing.

Orientation at Eastern Florida State College is designed to familiarize new students with the processes, policies and services that are critical to success. EFSC's general orientation is required in addition to any separate orientation that may be related to limited access programs such as health sciences, nursing or public safety.
If you are not a Dual Enrollment student, the orientation requirement can be met through our online orientation module by logging into the myEFSC Portal with student email address and password and then clicking the icon for Student Orientation/Titan Preview. Dual Enrolled high school students must complete orientation through a separate Dual Enrollment Orientation to meet the DE orientation requirement.
