Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Programs

Eastern Florida State College offers an Army ROTC program through a cross enrollment agreement with Florida Tech and an Air Force ROTC (AFROTC) program through the University of Central Florida.

The ROTC programs provide general military science curriculum with instruction covering military fundamentals. One, two, three, and four-year scholarships are available. Students who complete ROTC and graduate with a four-year degree will be commissioned as officers.

U.S. Army ROTC - Florida Tech Program

A student must be at least 17 years of age, be able to complete the Senior ROTC course and all degree requirements prior to reaching age 31, pass the medical examination and be accepted by the college or university.

Military Science is contained within the Interdisciplinary Studies department and is administered by Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (AROTC) on a cross-enrolled basis with Florida Institute of Technology, also known as Florida Tech. These courses prepare qualified students for service to the nation as Army officers. Army ROTC three-year and two-year scholarships are available to qualified applicants (both those already enrolled in the AROTC Program and those not yet enrolled) through annual merit. Eastern Florida State College ROTC scholarship totals $12,000 per academic year, with an additional $1,200 for textbooks and $420 monthly living stipends.
