Veterans may be eligible for Veterans Educational Benefits, and there are scholarships offered by the EFSC Foundation and external organizations that you can apply for.
College Courses You Would Take
Throughout this program, you'll get to roll up your sleeves and dive into hands-on experiences in EFSC's Robotics Lab, which is located on the Palm Bay Campus. The courses in this program teach industry-standard programming languages (Python, C, and Assembly), but with a unique emphasis on coding from a robotics perspective — you'll learn how to write code specifically tailored for robotics applications!
Here are the four courses you'll take:
Teaches the basic principles of robotics and simulation including operation, classification, programming, and applications.
Explores parallel and series DC circuits, resistance, Ohm's Law, circuit analysis methods, AC generation, inductance, capacitance, and more.
Looks at the history, internal electronic architecture, and usage of microprocessor platforms, and builds physical computing skills using high-level languages.
Provides a basic foundation for mechanical measurement techniques used in manufacturing environments including the principles of instrument use.
