The certificate includes afternoon and evening courses, making it accessible for working adults. You'll learn practical knowledge and gain hands-on skills in microprocessors, circuits, robotics and simulation, and measurement.

Robotics Certificate - Admissions Information

To apply for this program simply follow the general admissions and enrollment process at Eastern Florida. This certificate does not require any placement testing. If you have questions at any step, contact the program advisor or manager.

Brief Costs and Financial Aid Eligibility

The in-state tuition for this certificate program is around $1,250, excluding additional expenses like lab fees and course materials. Since the program is relatively short, it does not qualify for Federal financial aid. However, there are other options available to help you cover the costs. You can use the Nelnet Payment Plan to manage your tuition payments. Additionally, if you have a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship or a Florida Prepaid account, you can use those funds toward your education. Veterans may be eligible for Veterans Educational Benefits, and there are scholarships offered by the EFSC Foundation and external organizations that you can apply for.

The courses in this program teach industry-standard programming languages (Python, C, and Assembly), but with a unique emphasis on coding from a robotics perspective — you'll learn how to write code specifically tailored for robotics applications!
