Accepted Student Information

After receiving acceptance notification for the Transition to Associate Degree Nursing program, students must complete the following requirements and review the information as full acceptance will not be finalized until these requirements are met:

  1. Complete criminal background check and drug screening
  2. Immunizations documented based on the timeline in the acceptance packet
  3. CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers only)
  4. Attend mandatory student orientation

EFSC uses healthcare and community sites for clinical hours throughout the nursing program. Students accepted into the program will be responsible for transportation to all class (campus) and clinical sites required by the program.

All accepted nursing program students are covered by Allied Health Liability Insurance and also the Education/Training Student Accident Insurance through EFSC. The cost of this insurance coverage is included in course lab fees and it is charged once every twelve months.
