In this program, you'll take core business courses covering topics like strategic management, customer relations, economics, human resources, accounting, and more. In addition, there are specialized sports-focused courses on sports finance, management and marketing, and sports facilities management.
The Organizational Management core courses can be taken online or on campus, while the Sports Management Specialization courses are only available online.
Sports Management BAS Track - Admissions Information
To enroll in this program, follow EFSC's standard application procedures for a bachelor's degree. Be sure to keep track of the application deadlines! You can start this program in the Spring, Summer, and Fall Terms (January, May, and August respectively).
For the Sports Management Specialization, you need an Associate in Science (A.S.) or an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree from a regionally accredited college. An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree doesn't meet the requirements for this track. If you have an AAS degree and want to transfer to a BAS program, consult a bachelor advisor for guidance on your coursework and next steps.
Brief Costs and Financial Aid Eligibility
If you're a Florida resident, the tuition fees for this two-year program's courses will amount to approximately $7,200. Keep in mind that this cost doesn't cover expenses for course materials or lab fees.
Because the program requires an associate degree, you'll need to complete an additional 60 credits. About 39 of these credits will be for upper-level courses, as detailed in EFSC's fee schedule.
The good news is that there are financial assistance options available to support you throughout the program. You might be eligible for financial aid and scholarships, such as the Titan Scholarships provided by the EFSC Foundation or external scholarships offered by various community organizations.
