Guiding Open Educational Resources

The Academic Council's (AC) Open Educational Resources (OER) coordinates and educates the EFSC community in the adoption of high-quality OERs that enhance teaching and learning based on recommendations to the AC.

Open Educational Resources (OER) are learning, teaching, and research materials in any format and medium that are in the public domain or are under copyrights that have been released under an open license, permitting no-cost access, use, adaptation, and redistribution by others.

At EFSC, information about OER also is shared in an online research guide managed as part of the Library's guides.
