Florida SBDC

The Florida SBDC at Eastern Florida State College is a subcenter of the Florida SBDC at the University of Central Florida, a member of the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network, providing essential support to small businesses and entrepreneurs in the Brevard County area.

Located at EFSC, the SBDC offers a range of services designed to help businesses grow and succeed.

We offer no-cost consulting, free seminars and workshops, as well as paid courses and conferences covering various topics like starting a business, basic management, planning, record-keeping, industry-specific matters, government contracts, international trade, marketing, and social media. We tailor these to your requests and needs.

We also provide free consulting at EFSC locations or your place of business. Our consultants will chat with you to figure out your needs, problems, and opportunities — then, we create a plan to address those needs. To help, we have access to lots of info for small businesses on demographics, taxes, financing, marketing, and more.

The SBDC at Eastern Florida State College is part of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide program accredited by the Association of America's SBDCs.

It is funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration, Department of Defense, State of Florida, and other private and public partners, with the University of West Florida serving as the network's lead host institution.

Florida SBDC services are are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. If you need help with language due to limited English proficiency or have a disability, we can provide reasonable accommodations if you request them at least two weeks in advance. The FSBDC is officially designated by the state as Florida's primary provider of business assistance under Florida Statute § 288.001.
