EFSC Students Named to State All-Academic Team

A historic total of 102 Eastern Florida State College students have been named to the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) 2023-2024 All-Academic Team for academic excellence.

The newest All-Academic Team consisted of a record number of 1,324 students throughout the 28-member Florida College System (FCS) that includes Eastern Florida State College.

Each college within the FCS nominates students based on performance in co-curricular activities, grade point average, community service, and on-campus leadership.

"Each of these students represents the best and brightest here at EFSC. They have excelled both in the classroom and their extracurricular activities," said college President Dr. Jim Richey.

"This high honor recognizes their achievement, and we are extremely proud of each of them."

Honorees include:

Student Government: Tori Hooker, Annjeannette Mitchell, and Jalen Sanders

Theatre: Geovana DeOliveira Martins, Isabel Fuentes, David Kearns, Lauren Larsen, Phoebe Parker, Kristian Rodriguez, and Tiffany Satcher

Baseball: Jake Cooper, Bryce Donovan Carter, Jonathan Padilla, Kenneth Robinson, and Brady Strelitz

Softball: Jenna Borkey, Olivia Davis, Madison Ford, Samantha Formosa, Ashley Grieser, Mackenzie Jewell, Mia Sanchez, Grace Snell, and Maci Vonderstraisse

Men's Basketball: Andrija Bukumirovic, Luca Colceag, Ernests Locmelis, Matus Malovec, Oliver Pasque, Enrijs Noel Slivackis, Afan Trnka, Aaron Walker, and Matija Zuzic
