State Opens COVID-19 Testing Site at EFSC s Palm Bay Campus
May 12, 2020
Updated December 9, 2020 - A drive-through, no-appointment-required, free COVID-19 testing site is available at the Eastern Florida State College Palm Bay Campus.
The site is open to all ages with parental consent. Testing is available seven days a week, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. regardless of symptoms, with an "express lane" for those with symptoms.
The free test site is drive-through only. Please limit passengers in the vehicle to those who are being tested, and no more than five people. An ID is not required but it will speed up the registration process. Insurance information will be requested but is not required as there is no co-pay or fee.
The site is located at Eastern Florida State College, Palm Bay Campus, 250 Community College Parkway, Palm Bay, FL 32909 (enter at San Filippo Drive SE at Manchester Circle).
Individuals being tested will not be permitted to exit their vehicle. A prescription is not required to receive a test. The test will be a nasal swab. Once samples are collected, they will be sent to a commercial lab for testing and results will be provided as soon as they are available. In addition to the regular test sent for processing, a rapid antigen test with results in as soon as 15 minutes is now available.
