Ten EFSC Students Make All-Florida Academic Team
February 21, 2019
Ten Eastern Florida State College students have been named to the 2019 All-Florida Academic Team for their outstanding scholarship and work in the community.
This year’s representatives tie the Eastern Florida record set in 2018, when 10 students from the College also made the team.
The All-Florida Academic Team consists of 158 students from the 28-member Florida College System that includes Eastern Florida.
The students were nominated by their colleges and selected based on high achievement in the classroom, leadership on campus and service to the community.
"These 10 students have gone above and beyond in academic excellence and their contributions to the college community and the Space Coast community at large," said College President Dr. Jim Richey.
"When you consider there are more than 800,000 students in the Florida College System, their achievement is truly remarkable. All of us at Eastern Florida are extremely proud of them."
