Eric Harms, an Assistant Professor of Science on the Melbourne Campus, topped the roster with 40 years teaching in the classroom.

The employees were thanked by College President Dr. Jim Richey, who said their dedication is making Eastern Florida stand out for academic excellence in Florida and the nation.

“Some of you are celebrating 40 years at the College and have seen it grow in many ways, growth that continues today. The evolution of our College has one goal in mind - to constantly create outstanding opportunities for our students,” said Richey.

“Whether you've worked here for 40 years or are just beginning your career, please know that, collectively, we are making a real difference in the lives of our students and our community. A difference that will resonate for generations thanks to your dedication and professionalism.”

The awards were presented at the King Center for the Performing Arts on the Melbourne Campus.
