Students to Present "It's a Wonderful Life"
November 16, 2016
Students in the Eastern Florida State College Titans Theatre Club will present "It’s A Wonderful Life, A Live Radio Play" by Joe Landry on Wednesday, November 30 on the Cocoa Campus in the Simpkins Fine Arts Center Studio Theatre.
Staged as a live 1940s radio broadcast, this adaptation of the classic holiday film tells the story of George Bailey, a downtrodden man contemplating suicide on Christmas Eve. With help from his guardian angel Clarence, Bailey learns what life would be like had he never been born, which ultimately leads to a change of heart.
Show times are 4 p.m. and 7 p.m, and admission is free.
The play is produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. For more information, contact Jeanine Henry at 321-433-7384 or Carol Harvest at 321-433-7414.
