EFSC Launches Online Career Search Tool

August 30, 2016

Eastern Florida State College has launched Career Coach, a free online tool that allows students and Brevard County residents to explore potential careers and search current job listings.

Career Coach can be accessed by visiting the college’s website at easternflorida.edu/go/careercoach

Through a simple keyword search, visitors to the college website can learn about careers, educational options and courses available at EFSC associated with the career and employment opportunities in the Central Florida Region. It also includes detailed wage estimates associated with any career.

Career Coach also includes a resume builder to help students and jobseekers create customized resumes highlighting key skills and work experience.

Career Coach’s real-time job search feature is powered by Indeed, the leading international online employment website with free access to millions of jobs from thousands of company websites and job boards.

Those with a military background can enter their occupation code and Career Coach will automatically match it to similar civilian Careers.

“This new, online tool is a great resource for our students, friends and neighbors in the community looking for a job or exploring the potential of a new career,” said Dr. Linda Miedema, Vice President, Academic Affairs and Chief Learning Officer at EFSC.

The online tool is now available.  For assistance, call 321-433-7324.
