Application Process Open for Law Enforcement Training

June 8, 2016

The Public Safety Institute at Eastern Florida State College is now recruiting for its remaining 2016 Law Enforcement Academies.

The scheduled start dates are July 25, September 19 and November 28.

Law enforcement academy curriculum consists of 770 hours of instruction and includes physical fitness, firearms, defensive tactics, emergency vehicle operations and first aid training.

Due to the high demand for law enforcement training and class size requirements, placement is limited.

Although EFSC staff do all they can to accommodate students, placement in the desired academy class is not guaranteed.

Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible and work to meet all academy selection requirements, increasing the odds of getting into the class of your choice.
