Public Safety Academy Deadlines Approaching

July 13, 2015

EFSC's Public Safety Institute is now accepting applications for programs that can lead to careers as a correctional officer or 911 dispatcher.

The deadline for the upcoming full-time Corrections Academy is Friday, August 14. The corrections program begins on Monday, September 14.

The upcoming 911 Public Safety Telecommunications Academy has an application deadline of Friday, August 7 and classes will begin on Monday, August 31. The six-week program will run Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Due to the high demand for both programs and class size requirements, placement is limited.

Candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible and work to meet all academy selection requirements.
