ESFC Child Development Centers Offer Summer Camps

Eastern Florida State College’s Child Development Centers will offer two different summer camps from June 1 through August 6, 2015. One camp serves children, age seven to eleven. The other serves children, ages three to six.

The school-age camp will be held at the Eastern Florida Cocoa Campus Child Development Center at 1519 Clearlake Road, Cocoa, Building. 3, Room 174.

It will feature swimming, water play, campus walking field trips, cooking and healthy eating, art projects, science experiments and fun games. The elementary school are camp offers the following two schedule choices and fees:

• Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $100 per week.

• Monday through Thursday, from 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $120 per week.

The preschool camp will be offered at the Cocoa Campus and the Montessori Center, on the Eastern Florida Melbourne Campus, 3865 North Wickham Road, Melbourne.

This camp for younger children will feature themed educational and fun activities to reinforce learning concepts to keep the brain stimulated all summer – especially important for children going into kindergarten.

Preschool children can attend either two, three or four days a week, with flexible day and time options.

For your child to attend camp, you must register in person at either the Child Development Center in Cocoa or the Melbourne Montessori Center.
