Explore Law Enforcement Careers at Upcoming Workshop

Law enforcement careers will be the focus of a Jan. 21 workshop sponsored by Eastern Florida State College and the Central Brevard NAACP as part of an effort to increase diversity in the ranks of police and other public safety agencies.
The session will take place from 6-9 p.m. in the Cocoa Civic Center, 430 Delannoy
Ave., Cocoa.
A panel of experts will speak about their careers in law enforcement and public safety
and the personal and professional benefits of public service.
Staff from the college’s Public Safety Institute will be on hand to answer questions
about programs, applications, financial aid and scholarships. Anyone interested in
a public safety career is encouraged to attend.
The session is also sponsored by the City of Cocoa, Brevard Police Testing and Selection
Center and the college’s Career Planning and Development Center.
