Law Enforcement Academy Application Deadline Nears

December 6, 2012 - BCC’s Basic Law Enforcement Academy at the Institute of Public
Safety has a late January admission deadline for the session that starts Feb. 25,
2013.
Those wishing to be considered for admission to the academy must complete all eligibility testing and screening requirements by Jan. 24, 2013.
Law Enforcement Academy requirements include being a U.S. citizen at least 19-years-old with a high school diploma or equivalent, no felony convictions, no misdemeanor convictions for perjury or false statements, and no dishonorable discharge from the military. You must also have good moral character as determined by a fingerprint-based background investigation.
