November 27, 2012 - After years of hard work, Brevard Community College students will march across the stage to receive their degrees Dec. 20 during two ceremonies at the King Center for the Performing Arts.

More than 2,100 students are eligible to take part in the December ceremonies, including more than 1,300 scheduled to receive their degrees for the Fall 2012 term and another 800 who received degrees at the end of the Summer 2012 term. The College only holds commencement after the Spring and Fall terms.

A 1 p.m. ceremony will be held for students on the Titusville and Cocoa campuses, plus those graduating from a Health Sciences program, followed by a 4 p.m. ceremony for students on the Melbourne and Palm Bay campuses.

Both ceremonies are open to family and friends, and will be streamed live through a webcast link posted on the www.brevardcc.edu website home page on Thursday, Dec. 20.

Commencement speakers will include BCC President, Dr. Jim Richey and State Sen. Thad Altman, a BCC graduate and leader in the Florida Legislature.

Guest seating in the King Center auditorium will begin approximately 30 minutes before each ceremony. The King Center is located at 3865 N. Wickham Rd. in Melbourne, FL. You can find directions to the venue and other commencement information by clicking here.

The ceremonies will be re-broadcast on the College's television station WBCC on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. In Brevard County WBCC can be viewed on Bright House Cable Channels 9, 455 or 1068 and Channel 68.1 over the air.
