BCC Hosts Minority Youth Golf Program

May 16, 2012, Brevard County, FL - Brevard Community College will host the 20th Annual P.J. Wilson and Henry Scott Youth Golf Summer Camp, also known as the Minority Youth Golf Program, from June 18-28. The free program will be held at BCC’s Fred Gay Golf Academy, 3570 State Road 524, Cocoa, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM – 11 AM.
The camp is open to all youth between the ages of 10-16. They will learn basic golf skills along with lessons in personal conduct, sportsmanship and values for positive living. It’s designed to help them develop self-confidence and provide guidance on setting goals for a successful life.
Participants will receive a certificate of achievement upon completion.
The registration deadline is May 24. A mandatory orientation session will be held for families May 22 from 5:30 – 6:30 PM at Ralph M. Williams Student Center, Building 11, Community Dining Room, 1519 Clearlake Road, on the Cocoa Campus. For more information and to register, call 321-433-5502.
