Faculty Resources

The Healthy Body Healthy Mind (HBHM) initiative is designed to help Eastern Florida State College students be successful in school and in life through a holistic approach to wellness. Faculty and staff obviously play a key role in supporting students.

This page is a hub for resources to help you provide that support in a proactive way. In addition to services available at EFSC, you'll find materials used in HBHM-related training sessions and workshops. Also be sure to review the student Toolkit resources so you're aware of those referral options.

We also want to highlight wellness resources available to you as college employees. Thank you for your commitment to the well-being of our students.

The 3 Rs of Mental Health

This video workshop for EFSC faculty and staff features Dr. Doreatha J. Fields, who partners with EFSC as a mental health training specialist through the Healthy Body Healthy Mind initiative. Watch and learn how to recognize, respond, and refer students when there are mental health concerns.
