Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning

Supporting and Serving EFSC Faculty

CETL's Vision

The Eastern Florida State College Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) serves as catalyst for a college-wide, student-centered approach to teaching. We promote academic excellence by providing leadership, resources, and opportunities for collaboration.

CETL's Mission

Using faculty talent and experience, CETL organizes and distributes instructional resources. We strive to inspire innovative teaching practices that benefit our diverse student body. The Center nurtures personal and professional growth and we foster an institutional climate that values faculty achievement. In addition, opportunities for collaboration between faculty, staff, and administration are also provided.

The power of collaboration

Connections with our colleagues can lead to new ideas, whether our collaborations take place via faculty committees, on-site workshops, or virtual discussions. We encourage full- and part-time EFSC faculty to submit a CETL workshop proposal.
