Earth Day
Celebrate Earth Day at EFSC with our college-wide get-togethers that promote sustainability and raise awareness about environmental conservation! From planting cacti, crafts, and henna art to participating in freecycling and exploring volunteer opportunities, there are plenty of ways to get involved and make a positive impact on the planet and in our community.
What is Freecycling?
On April 22nd, the Cocoa Campus will host its annual Earth Day Celebration featuring a freecycle event in which students, faculty, and staff are invited to contribute items they would typically donate to a thrift store. At the event, attendees look through items and select things that would be of use to them - it's essentially a large-scale free-swap meet! This event aims to reduce overall consumer waste. Items can be dropped off in Bldg. 11, Rm. 114 beginning April 14th.
Don't miss out on our Earth Day celebrations at EFSC and be part of the movement towards a healthier and environmentally conscious community!
