Career Center Workshops

Land that Job Virtual Workshop

Virtual job fairs are a new experience for all of us. You might be wondering how to prepare, what to expect, or even how to register. The Career Planning and Development Center is here to answer all your questions and more in this insightful video workshop, filled with tips, tutorials, and details that will help you navigate a virtual job fair with ease! Watch the video below and be sure to visit the Job Fair page to sign up to take part.

EFSC's Career Planning and Development Center facilitates multiple workshops to meet the needs of the College's students and alumni. In the weeks before each Career Center Job Fair, our team offers topics to help participants prepare to meet potential employers, including sessions on employability skills.

We also coordinate workshops on soft skills that a student needs to be successful in college and their career, but that aren’t formally taught in most college courses. We asked thousands of students for input and used the top responses to create short, interactive workshops that allow students to leave with a usable product, such as a personalized weekly schedule or an individualized study plan of action. Topics include: Study Skills, Time Management, Organizational Skills and Etiquette in the Workplace.
