The CCDF at EFSC
Promoting Computer and Internet Safety
The Eastern Florida State College Center for Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics (CCDF) is a multi-disciplinary center offering resources and events and community outreach to increase education and awareness around cybersecurity and digital forensics. The center also supports the training offered through our related academic programs that include bachelor and associate degrees.
National Security Administration Center of Academic Excellence
The National Security Agency (NSA) and U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have jointly designated Eastern Florida State College as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (known as CAE-CD).

Cyber Range
The Center for Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics operates a Cyber Range located on the Palm Bay Campus (Building 3, Room 203). The range is an air-gap network, which simulates a real-world enterprise network. It is used for network traffic simulations, security threat analysis, and pentesting. Community outreach events are held in the Cyber Range, as well as student competitions and professional development workshops.
EFSC students have the opportunity to volunteer in the Cyber Range to develop hands-on, technical experience in networking, system administration, web development, and security analysis. For more information, contact Nicole Dyess at dyessn@easternflorida.edu.
CyberTech Skills Center
Located on the Palm Bay Campus, Bldg. 3, Rm. 208, this center is available to students, faculty and staff Monday through Thursday as a place to unlock the world of cybersecurity, sharpen your computer science skills, or seek assistance with your coursework.
