Respondus LockDown Browser

Respondus LockDown Browser is a customized browser that increases the security of online testing. It prevents students from printing, copying, going to another website, or accessing other applications during an assessment. If your instructor's assessment requires that Respondus LockDown Browser be used, the assessment won't be accessible with a standard web browser. 

If you are scheduled to take your assessment at one of EFSC's assessment centers, the LockDown Browser will be installed on the assessment center computer. Respondus is also available for exams within Canvas.

If you are utilizing ProctorU to take your assessment and your instructor requires the LockDown Browser, you will need to install the LockDown Browser software on the computer you plan to use to take the assessment. This must be your personal computer not an EFSC computer.
