Miniumum Qualifications
Baccalaureate or University-Parallel Subject Areas
- A Master's degree with a major in the primary teaching area. OR
- A Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the primary teaching area.
Technical Programs
- A Master’s degree with a specialization in the primary teaching area. OR
- A Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in the primary teaching area and 3 years of relevant employment experience. OR
- An AA/AS degree with a specialization in the primary teaching area and 6 years of relevant employment experience.
Vocational Programs
- A Master’s degree with specialization in the primary teaching area. OR
- A Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in the primary teaching area and 3 years
of relevant employment experience. OR
- An AA/AS degree with specialization in the primary teaching area and 6 years of relevant
employment experience. OR
- A High School diploma with relevant licenses or certifications and 6 years of relevant employment experience.
Continuing Education Programs
- An appropriate degree, experience, or demonstrated expertise in the teaching area.
