Certification Exam & Renewal

The Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) is administered by the American Association of Veterinary State Boards and scores are sent to the two credentialing bodies in Florida:

• Florida Veterinary Medical Association
• Florida Veterinary Technician Association

Graduates will make application for certification to the Association of their choosing. See the AAVSB website for testing information and dates.

Renewal of current certification is required every two years with proof of 15 hours of continuing education.
