Facials Specialty Program

Important Note: EFSC is not currently accepting applicants for the Facials Specialty program because the curriculum is under review and a new curriculum is being developed. Once that is available, the application process will be reopened. In the meantime, interested students can consider the Cosmetology program. General information about the Facials program is below, with details subject to change during the curriculum review process.

When available, the Cosmetology Department offers the Facials Specialty program at the Cocoa Campus. Admission requires a special application process. Program graduates receive a Career and Technical Certificate (CTC).

facialThis program is intended to prepare students for employment as Estheticians (facial specialists). They may work in beauty salons, day spas, dermatologist offices, plastic surgeons' offices, and major cosmetic companies, as well as theme parks as make-up specialists. Classroom and clinical instruction prepare the student to function as an esthetician in varied settings and roles. Instruction is designed to qualify students for obtaining a registration from the State Board of Cosmetology.

Applicants will attend a group orientation conducted by the instructor of the program. They will be notified by mail to verify the date of the orientation, after the application deadline.

It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure his or her application is complete.
