Launch to Success

New Students, Get Ready for Fall enrollment!

Launch to Success is EFSC’s signature orientation, advising, and registration event for new, incoming first-time students who plan to pursue an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree. The mission is simple: we're here to get you on a path to success at Eastern Florida State College by providing you with a smooth lift-off for Fall Term.

Last summer's events are over so reach out to your advisor if you need to schedule a one-on-one appointment to meet your advising requirement and clear your course registration hold. Visit the advisor meeting tips page for more information on this required appointment, including how to make the appointment and getting ready for it.

Apply for financial aid. Every EFSC student should apply because the only way to find out if you’re eligible is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Explore the Financial Aid section for more information about financial aid and scholarships — and the steps for applying.

Submit your placement test scores: Request that your SAT scores from CollegeBoard or ACT scores through the MyACT site be sent to EFSC.

Explore and select an area of study that fits your interests. While you may not know exactly what you want to major in, you should have a general idea by selecting an Academic Community. This assists the Launch Team with helping you choose the right classes to pave the way for your future plans and academic success. Not sure? Make an appointment with an EFSC Career Services Center to explore free career choice tools.
