How to Apply for the TriO Program

Not sure if you're eligible for the TRIO-Student Support Services Program? To assist us in determining your eligibility, please follow these important steps. We have a process in place to assist students remotely during the COVID-19 related Campus closures so please continue to apply and you will hear back from the TRiO team.

1.  Use our Online system to submit TRiO's Student Information Form to begin the eligibility screening process.

2.  Once you have been pre-approved, we will contact you via phone and/or Titan Student Email in order to schedule a special orientation for you by phone or Microsoft Teams.

3.  The orientation will consist of providing you with more details about the program, explaining student participation, expectations and information about you completing the official application via a Writable/Saveable PDF document. After our discussion, we will send an email to your Titan Student Email address with the PDF application attached, plus instructions on how to fill it out and electronically sign it using your computer and how to submit it through the College's secure Student Document Dropbox.

4.  After EFSC Campuses have reopened for in-person meetings, we will call you back for a meeting in one of our four TRiO offices. You will need to bring your official personal ID and one of the following documents to verify your income:

• Most recent tax return
• Copy of your FAFSA
• Document from a governmental agency such as SSI, TANF, etc.
