Academic Success Centers

Are you finding math or chemistry lab courses challenging? Feeling stuck with a research project or nervous about a class presentation? You're not alone!

At Eastern Florida, we have Academic Success Centers (ASC) on every campus to support you, plus after-hours tutoring through Brainfuse.

Our ASCs offer free help to EFSC students who need extra support in understanding important concepts and improving their study skills. Our professional tutors are here to assist you, whether you prefer online or in-person support. While they won't do your assignments or quizzes for you, they can help answer questions about formulas, concepts, processes, paper formatting, structure, and more.

If you're looking for a job opportunity, we're also hiring EFSC students who are eligible for work-study financial aid as paid peer tutors. Check out the jobs available by campus on the Work Study page and apply through the online system.

For online ASC tutoring through Microsoft Teams, it's essential to schedule an appointment. If you favor face-to-face tutoring on campus, you can choose between booking an appointment or dropping in — however, we highly advise scheduling an appointment to minimize your potential waiting time.
