Community Partners

Community partner organizations are the heart of Eastern Florida State College's service-learning efforts! The Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (CSLCE) works closely with more than 350 service sites and projects, without which our program could not exist. Community partner sites not only guide and supervise EFSC students, but they also provide resources that lead to a more fulfilling service-learning experience.

The CSLCE keeps a running list of on-site and virtual volunteer opportunities. If you would like to add your organization to our Community Partner Link Directory or if you are looking for students to help support a one-time special project or event, please get in touch. We are happy to help spread the word!

Attend an EFSC Care Fair

Represent your company or organization at our bi-annual Care Fair, held on all four EFSC campuses.

It's a great way to let students, faculty, and staff know about the local services and volunteer opportunities you offer — and you'll get to enjoy some free food and entertainment in the process!

Service-Learning Partner Spotlight

STEM Tech Neighborhood Academy is an after-school program that offers youth tutoring and teaches interactive technology (model rockets, robots, computer code, 3D printers, and quadcopters). Several key projects, such as the Junior Solar Sprint Team, the Electrathon Car Team, and the Astrobonauts Robotics Team, are designed to engage students and volunteers interested in engineering or other technical disciplines.
