Scholastic Achievement

Academic Recognition at Eastern Florida

Based on the term grade point average (GPA), Eastern Florida State College recognizes students with high academic achievement during the fall and spring terms only. For students whose major is a bachelor's degree, high academic achievement is calculated based on the GPA for only the upper-division courses (3000 and 4000 level).

Dean’s List: (fall and spring) lists all students who have earned six (6) or more credits during the term with a grade point average of 3.25 - 3.74.

Honors List: (fall and spring) lists all students who have earned at least six (6) credit hours during the term with a grade point average of 3.75 - 3.99.

President’s List: (fall and spring) lists all students who have earned at least six (6) credit hours during the term with a grade point average of 4.00.

Important Note: An ‘‘F’’ or “I” in any course precludes a student from being listed on the Dean’s, Honors, or President’s list during that term.

Students also may graduate with honors or special recognitions related to their grade point average or their participation in the official EFSC Honors Program or other honor societies. View more information on graduating with honors.
